Short List of Short Game Tips
  1. Your short game needs more practice than your long game.
  2. Distance and accuracy are equally important.
  3. It’s easier to judge how a ball will roll than how a ball will bounce.
  4. Never be afraid of your own imagination.
  5. Rarely does anyone ever flub, chili-dip, or skull a putt.
  6. Keep your weight on your leading foot for a downward approach and crisp contact.
  7. The difficulty of a bunker shot depends greatly on the condition of the bunkers.
  8. Uphill putts are easier than downhill putts.
  9. Never risk missing the green from within 100 yards.
  10. If you think you can get it close, think you can make it.
