Golf Fitness Websites

Fitness is one of the most important factors in your golf swing. Flexibility and strength in the right places are vital for attaining some of the positions in the golf swing that create dynamic and natural power and fluidity.

I have previously stated that I am no expert in golf fitness: but I am not too shabby at doing some research to find other golfers that do.

Here is a list of great golf fitness websites to help you improve your swing and keep you on the course for years to come:

1. Greg Norman’s Fitness Tips
Learn Greg Norman’s personal workout and read fitness tips from the Shark himself.

2. Golf Stretches for a More Fluid Swing from MayoClinic
Regular stretching can promote a fluid, full golf swing and help prevent injury. Learn more from this slideshow with visual demonstrations.

3. Golf Stretching Program from PTClinic
Simple website for learning golf specific stretches. Drawn illustrations make learning these easy stretches hassle-free.

4. Health and Fitness from The Golf Channel
The Golf Channel’s website provides an entire section on health and fitness related to golf. It may take some navigating to get to the information you need.

Flexibility is the key to gaining more distance, power, and consistancy in your golf game. I know from personal experience that this is true. Developing a solid and consistent stretching regime is the best thing that amateur golfers can do for their game.
